Always Good Meat Loaf

Makes 8 servings

Prep Time: 15 min.
Baking Time: 1 hr. 30 min.

Ingredients:

1-1/2 pounds extra-lean ground beef
1 cup fat-free milk
2/3 cup cracker crumbs
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
3/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning or sage

Cooking Directions:

Preheat oven to 350-degrees F. and grease a 5x9-inch loaf pan.
1) In a large bowl, combine ground beef and milk.
2) Add, cracker crumbs, eggs, onion, salt, pepper, and seasoning.
3) Mix well with a wooden spoon. Spoon mixture into loaf pan.
4) Bake for 1 to 1-½ hours or until brown on top and completely done in the middle (165-degrees F.).
5) Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
